After leaving school, I went on to complete my teaching degree at Leeds Metropolitan University. I started my first teaching job in a primary school, developed along my journey as a teacher from teaching in year 4 and year 5. I was a curriculum lead for History and PE which involved liaising with the teaching team and supporting them on their curriculum planning around these subjects.

After five years of teaching, I changed my career path to explore teaching within a different setting and healthcare was a great fit given my love of supporting others. LivingCare was a fantastic opportunity for me to develop skills as a teacher but for adults, with a focus on Learning and Development. Exciting opportunities are up and coming being part of the Learning Academy and I cannot wait to see where the next 18 months takes my role and career.
