At the Learning Academy, we are extremely proud that because of our support and investment, 95% of apprentices have stayed with LivingCare with several progressing into management positions.

Apprenticeships help facilitate and encourage learning

We adopt a blended approach with our apprenticeship funding and offer 50% of our allowance to internal staff development, with our Exec Team currently completing the Masters in Business Development under the apprenticeship offer. We offer the other 50% of placements to new trainees and currently have apprentices in Human Resources, Finance and Business Development. Our aim is to offer a I.T based apprentice in the future.

We have a range of mentors who have different roles within the company and with this comes a wealth of experience to share. The knowledge that can be shared can be both clinical and non-clinical therefore our mentors can offer guidance and hands on knowledge to support all our apprentices on their learning journey. We have dedicated training programmes and support throughout our apprenticeships and our Learning and Development Coordinator offers their full support every step of the way.
